MAASSLUISE ICONEN, 2026
A series of minimalist graphic illustrations celebrating the architectural heritage of Maassluis. This collection features three local landmarks: De Groote Kerk, the historic tugboat De Furie, and Het Douanehuisje.
Developed during my internship at Zij & Blij, this project was a collaborative effort. While the creative concept was co-created with the talented team at the studio, I was responsible for the visual execution and the detailed digital illustrations.
The series explores the contrast between detailed black-and-white linework and vibrant, modern gradients. Each artwork is presented in two color variations, capturing the transition between tradition and contemporary design.

A contemporary series of tactile, abstract artworks exploring the dynamic relationship between color, angle, and perception. Crafted on canvas using heavy texture paste and premium spray paint, this collection is designed to be a bold, immersive eye-catcher that responds directly to its environment.
The core innovation of this series lies in its directional execution. The central textured window is meticulously spray-painted from two opposing angles, creating a shifting visual effect. As the viewer moves around the piece, the artwork transforms revealing different color blends, depths, and shadows depending on the vantage point. Free from rigid narratives, the collection is a pure celebration of materiality, spontaneous inspiration, and the captivating play of light.

A conceptual series of 3D typographic artworks exploring the weight of expectation and perspective. Built around the powerful Dutch phrase, "Alles is veel voor wie niet veel verwacht" (Everything is a lot for those who do not expect much), this collection transforms literature into physical form.
This project is a personal exploration of typography, texture, and color. Each piece is constructed using dimensional lettering, playing with the contrast between raw, monochromatic structures and hidden, vibrant bursts of color along the edges. By fracturing the sentence across multiple panels, sometimes hiding the words entirely within a grid of abstract letters, and other times highlighting them in bold color, the series challenges the viewer to slow down and actively decipher the message.

A POSTCARD FROM..,

An ongoing series of handcrafted cyanotype prints capturing quiet moments and architectural details from my travels. This collection bridges the gap between digital photography and historical printmaking, turning fleeting personal memories into tangible, blue-monochrome artworks.
To elevate images that would otherwise get lost in a digital camera roll, I convert selected travel photos into negatives and print them using the traditional sun-print (cyanotype) technique. The rich Prussian blue tones and subtle paper textures give each photograph a nostalgic, timeless quality. Starting with an iconic red telephone box in London, with new destinations added as I continue to explore the world.
