EVERGREEN
Here you’ll find an overview of all the work I’ve created for the hockey club Evergreen. From social media posts and website headers to posters and other visual content, everything is designed to match their identity and keep their communication fresh and engaging. Scroll through the page to explore the designs, and see how I’ve helped bring their identity to life across different platforms.
SOCIAL POSTER
This was the very first assignment I got during my internship at Zij & Blij; designing a poster to promote Evergreen’s social media channels around the club. At the time, I didn’t know much about the hockey club yet, but after a clear explanation from my internship supervisor and looking through their socials and previous designs, I was able to get started quickly. I created the poster layout in InDesign, while the background and phone mock-up were made in Photoshop. I’m really proud of this project, it was a great way to kick off my internship, and it felt extra special that it got approved so quickly!

WEB HEADER
The second assignment I received was to edit the website header in Evergreen’s style. I really enjoyed this task because it gave me the chance to experiment with Photoshop and explore the visual identity of the club. I’m happy with how it turned out and even more excited that it’s now live on the website. As an intern, it’s super rewarding to see your work actually being used!

WEB TITLES

While someone else is responsible for the full website redesign, I’m occasionally asked to help by creating headers or editing images. This time, I was given a few ideas for smaller section titles and I turned those into visuals that matched the Evergreen style. It’s always fun to take someone’s idea and bring it to life!
PICTURE EDITS
These are the photos I edited for Evergreen. I was asked to blur the faces of some of the kids and adjust the brightness and contrast where needed. I’m really happy with how they turned out, simple edits, but they made a big difference!
INSTA POSTS
The next assignment was to design an Instagram post to showcase the new bags for the youngest teams to store their hockey balls. I really enjoyed this one, it was approved and posted super quickly! I created the background in Photoshop and designed the rest in InDesign.

New photos will soon be taken for the socials and website, and I was asked to create a reel to announce this. We didn’t have any video footage, so I got creative and brought a still image to life with motion. This was fully my own idea, which made it even more fun—especially because my supervisor really liked the result too!
The post hasn’t been published yet, since they’re still waiting to confirm the photographer’s date. But it’s great to have it ready to go. I created the reel in After Effects, which was really fun to work with, and since I hadn’t used the program much before, I learned a lot from making it!
For the annual ‘Furiade’ event in Maassluis, the club hosts a mini clinic each year and this year was no exception. I got to create an Instagram post to promote it, based on last year’s version but with a more modern touch.
Unfortunately, shortly after the post went live, we received news that the clinic had to be cancelled due to bad weather.

I also created a post in After Effects to encourage Evergreen club members to keep collecting tickets for the Grote Clubactie, as they had already reached their first goal. The post had to follow the official Grote Clubactie style for the most part but of course, I added a touch of Evergreen to make it fit the club’s identity.
I created this post to show the process of designing the new coach and training jackets. It also lets people know that there are new jackets available. I made this reel in After Effects.
